Ulysses is Goh Nakamura’s second solo release. This album represents the culmination of his career for the past few years since the release of his first album, “Daylight Savings“. Goh’s music has always been a mature blend of Folk Rock and Blues, and this latest album brings his sound to the next level.
his first release is an acoustic album that exhibited Goh’s prowess as an individual who needed nothing more than his guitar to show you some of the most beautiful melodies you might ever hear, layered beneath heart felt and smart lyrics.
In Ulysses Goh Nakamura took a different approach, inviting some of his closest musician friends to be part of the album. Sadie from The Invisible Cities and Aya from Scrabbel were among the many who lent their talents.
Goh is quite savvy with world wide web promotion, with his own website, facebook, and myspace. His youtube channel has quite an impressive number of covers from his fans on youtube.

And in the spirit of Radiohead, releasing an album to the masses via the world wide web, Goh Nakamura has released “Ulysses” on the internet for free download (128 kbps), in a “Call to Arms“. If you’ve never listened to Goh Nakamura, this is a great way to listen to his music for the first time, and I highly recommend that you download it, today.
But of course, great music is worth buying, and if you have the spare cash to support a great artist, Ulysses is worth owning on CD, including artwork and higher quality download (320 kbps).
